RIP John McCain

It was sad news today that Senator John McCain passed away.  Perhaps it was more shocking because just yesterday it was announced that he would stop treatment for his brain cancer which usually means a stint in hospice before the inevitable.  He was a war hero, a good public servant, and a man of good character.  He was well loved by his family, well thought of by the general public, and well respected even by his political opponents.  Looking back on his life after his passing it is clear that he upheld the qualities that have always been most important to Americans--loyalty, honor, and courage.  RIP John McCain.
